Sorry about the hold up in the blogs, I have been on vacation and, well, I took a break! I have heard that my earlier blog post, First Lady Style, the pictures did not download. I will repost the blog and I hope that the pictures download this time. If the pictures do not download please let me know in a post. Thank You.
Let's talk Oscar fashion. The Oscars were earlier in the week and the red carpet was looking good. Every actress had their own sense of style. No dress was the same color, let alone style! It is always interesting to see all the different designers that are worn and what style and color looks best on each person. The funny thing is that all the women's dresses are so unique, and then the mens clothing is so similar, they are all wearing a black tux.
This first designer is Dior Haute Couture. This dress was worn by Jennifer Lawrence. The dress is more of a creamy pink color and it looks nice with her skin. Her pearl earrings flatter the dress and the necklace hanging down the back was a show stopper. Her little silver clutch looks great and adds a funky touch to the dress, but the dress still looks classic.

This next designer is Giorgio Armani. He designed Jessica Chastain's dress. The strapless sparkly dress looks amazing with her skin color the tan color dress with the pale skin looks really nice and the red lipstick and hair put the final touch to the outfit. It is nice how she doesn't have a necklace on because it would have been too much with the earrings and the bracelet.

Last but certainly not least is a fabulous Alexander McQueen dress, worn by Amanda Seyfried. The color compliments her. The neckline is cool and the tear drop slit makes it even cooler! The pattern on the dress makes the dress pop and the fact that the pattern fades out makes the dress a little funkier. It is nice that Amanda didn't overdo it with jewelery and that she kept the earrings simple, like the hair style.

Once again sorry about the hold in the blog. it was had to write with vacation, school, and (sadly) homework. I plan to write as much on a school night as possible.
Think outside of the box,
Marina
